Kings Park & Botanic Gardens One of Perth’s most popular attractions, Kings Park & Botanical Gardens offers breathtaking views of the city and Swan River.

Fremantle

For a maritime feel, take a half-hour journey south of Perth to the coast where you can enjoy the history and the atmosphere of the port city of Fremantle.
Walk among the historical buildings; delight in the buzz of activity around the popular café strip and port; dine in alfresco cafes or be entertained by sideshow buskers performing outside the weekend markets.
Rottnest Island
For an overseas holiday to suit any budget, jump on the ferry for a short trip to Rottnest Island and soak up the laid-back, beachside holiday atmosphere.
The island is known for its pristine beaches and is the perfect location for snorkelling, scuba diving, swimming and surfing. It is also home to the small marsupial, the quokka, which is unique to the island.
Swan Valley, Chittering Valley and Perth Hills
Just inland of Perth, is the glorious Swan Valley, Chittering Valley and Perth Hills. These regions offer character buildings; national parks; rolling hills; babbling brooks; and quaint villages featuring history, arts and crafts and friendly locals.
The Swan Valley is Western Australia’s oldest wine region and home to more than 40 vineyards.
Sunset Coast
A visit to Perth is not complete without experiencing our beautiful sunset coast, where the sun sinks into the Indian Ocean. A ribbon of white sandy beaches stretches from city beaches north to Lancelin.
This stunning coastline is gateway to the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean, where visitors can swim, surf, or just sit back and watch the world go by.
Perth Zoo
Only five minutes from the city is the Perth Zoo, home to more than 1,500 animals and 200 species. It is the ideal place to see Australian wildlife up-close in natural habitat settings.
