2009 will see a significant shift in the teams competing at the games as the opportunity for champion Australian universities to attend has been created.

This will see an increase not only in the number of participants but also in the quality of the teams representing universities from across Australia in the entire sports program.

Training Workshops

The Indian Rim Asian University Games aims to provide athlete development through the provision of training and development workshops in their sport. These workshops will take shape for both athletes and coach’s and will look to include input and delivery from groups such as the WA Institute of Sport, international guest coaches, WA based professional sports teams and other high profile and experienced coaches.
